NewfieEd
Me and my ex broke up 3 months ago after an 8 month relationship. At the time I was travelling for work, gone 2 weeks at a time and on my time off I was spending a lot of time with my parents as my father has Alzheimer’s Disease. This being said I wasn’t making enough time for the relationship to grow. After the relationship ended I got a permanent job in my home city and she has recently taken a position for 1 year in a rural community 3 hours away. My new job is a week on and a week off and the week off I could spend in the rural area with her if we were to reconcile. I realize the mistakes I made not spending enough time together, which was the biggest issue that came between us. We haven’t spoken since September. Is it even worth it to reach out? If I reach out should I explain the changes or just ask her if she would like to have a chat?
Acacia98
How would spending time with your parents fit into your schedule if you were to reconcile? Would it be in conflict with your spending time with your girlfriend?
