Red flag?

Hi, I've started to notice that my gf has a tendency to find out everything especially financial, about someone we might meet. Anybody, restaurant owner, shop owner etc, it might be the next day, she'll say " yes, his brother put the money up and he lives in a big house over in....." She has ADHD and autism which she masks. Am I wrong in being suspicious?

I'm confused. It sounds like she's a gossip, which might not be everyone's cup of tea... But you seem to be implying something more than that. What exactly are you concerned about?

Some people talk like that if brought up a certain way. If I had to guess she was around others most of her life who focus on the material. It’s what she notices first in terms of details

Some people are like that for different reasons. She may not have noticed she does that.

You think she's looking to replace you? It's not a very good plan as she reports everything back to you.

Maybe hasn’t been around women in business or women who are breadwinners and providers. Sad.

I just thought it a little odd that's all. I get being inquisitive,  but I'd have thought it would be across the board, if that's your nature, regardless of gender.  Maybe I'm the odd one, it's not a big thing, just a thought. Thanks

Oh no, she comes from a family that all have businesses, we know/meet lots of people, it's just she's only inquisitive with the males🤷🏻‍♂️ thanks

Oh 100% she doesn't realise she's selective, It just stood out to me that's all. Thanks for your input

I'd simply ask her about this. I'd be curious rather than accusatory.
