Tim353
My wife and I are in our early 50s, we recently had an evening at our friends house, a few drinks flowed and my mates wife mentioned she had had sex with a woman a long time ago, which her husband knew about….. within a minute of that, my wife started to passionately kiss his wife for about 5 seconds, it stopped and then they kissed again for around 15 seconds, my wife also groped her breast, this did turn me on… That night, before bed as my wife was a bit too drunk l didn’t mention it, but the next day I asked if she liked it and wanted it to go further, she dissed the situation, saying, oh girls just do that and it doesn’t mean anything, is this true ? or is my wife hiding her feelings from me, I’ve made it perfectly clear to her I am happy if she wants to have a sexual relationship with another woman or man for that matter……I am very open to it but she has always been faithful, we have been married for 30 years…
basil67
I know more than one woman in this age group who've switched sides and divorced to be with their new love. Truth is, your wife actually be more into women these days.

Not true of everyone, but yes, it can be true. My childhood GF and I practiced kissing when we were 12. We'd learned the term 'lesbian' and decided we were that, I guess, just to feel radical so we could pretend to enjoy what we were doing. But this was short-lived and really came down to wanting some experience before we would date boys. However, this opened a door to accepting a kiss from a woman later in my 20's. I enjoyed it at the moment, but not enough to pursue the woman or any other women going forward. Fluidity is a variable thing. If your wife wants to diss the moment, I'd respect that. While you might pick a more appropriate opportunity to further the discussion with her--like when she's feeling good instead of hungover--then do so, but don't be pushy about it. Otherwise, you'll just annoy her.

It could very well be true, yes. I know a surprisingly large number of women who have kissed or even had sex with other women, yet many of them still don’t view themselves as lesbians or even bisexuals. They explained to me that it was just a phase, something that women frequently experiment with, and once the experiment is done they wouldn’t really do it again. Straight men usually find it hard to understand, since we’d probably never “experiment” with other guys without actually becoming bisexual or gay. That said, I know 2-3 guys who have experienced passionate kissing with other guys, then went back to being completely straight again.
stillafool
I'm a woman and I've never had long kisses with my girlfriends. Nor do I want to.
Gaeta
The studies on the subject are very interesting. 60% of hetetosexual woman will include women in their sexual fantasies. About 30% of heterosexual women will experiment at different level with another woman while very young or later in life. Apparently a lot of it is related to women representing a softer, gentler, tenderer side of sexuality. It's a phenomenon unique to women. Sony12
If anything it probably indicates that your wife still has a very large sexual appetite that you may not be satisfying at this point in time. Your wife is at the age where women often begin to become unsatisfied with men their own age. Some go to younger men while others might do something like what your wife did. It all stems from a appetite that isn't being quenched.
