Over christmas I got together with my boyfriend in the knowloedge that it was going to be a long distance thing because I have to go to university which is 3 and a half hours away. I don't have a problem with LDRs as I have had a 2yr relationship previously. What's driving me insane is the fact that he doesn't do anything with his life, and its only been since I left that I realised this. He doesn't drive, so whenever I'm home I drive HIM everywhere, he doesn't really have a job and I'm starting to realise that we don't have much in common. He's very sweet and I do like him a lot but I don't really miss him when I'm away because it annoys me that all he does is sit around, drinking, smoking and texting me to tell me how he's doing nothing. I'd like some advice as to whether I should stick with it and see if it improves with time, or whether it's best to let him down gently? Many thanks! Link to post Share on other sites
