i need some suggestions on how to have the "what are you looking for?" conversation without sounding like i want the guy i'm seeing to know yet whether he wants to be with *me* specifically. we've only been dating for a few months, so it's early yet to know if we're good together as a long-term serious couple. however, i want to know if he's looking for a relationship (in general) or just likes having someone in his life who he can see a couple times a week and be intimate with. i mean, we've established exculsivity, but how do i know if he wants a relationship that progresses past the point we're at now or if he's just content with this? i just don't want to get all invested if we aren't even looking for the same things.
