Lil Honey
Has anyone had it done? Other than the basic info at webmd, is there anything else that would be good to know? Is the info accurate? How long did it take before you went back to work? Is the scaring as bad as they make it sound? Is sensation reduced as much as they claim?
blind_otter
I had a friend do this. She was only 22 and had horrible back problems. Her mistake was going to a plastic surgeon in our area, I think. And not checking his credentials, and not checking him out in general. But afterwards her breasts were, well there's no delicate way of putting this -- ravaged by the scalpel. There were these weird scars that puckered OUT on either side of her breasts, and they just looked weird and kind lumpy. She was mortified after the surgery and is very self-conscious now. And she has no sensation in her nipples. I mean you could hold a lighter to them and she didn't FEEL ANYTHING! I would say, just make sure you have a reputable plastic surgeon with lots of experience.

hawks09
I am very happy that i had it done one and half years back it was the best thing i have done for myself. I don't suffer from back aches or head aches anymore and it has done wonders to my self esteem. You have to make sure you choose the best surgeon money can buy. I did loose sensation in my left nipple for a few months but luckily it is slowly coming back. I had fairly big breast F cup and now i am done to C cup for those of you who have big breasts you would understand the agony we go through cause of the extra load we carry. i am fairly small framed too so that made it even more tougher on my body. I would highly reccomend to have it done but remember there will be a fair bit of scarring but if you use vitamin E oils and creams. I have to have a minor surgery to remove the extra bit of flesh on my breast but apart from that i am very happy overall. I took only a week off from work and was out and about having lunch with my GF's in five days. Good luck with it.
