Admiral Thrawn
...that's right, Let's look at the book of Revelation, and analyse all symbols of women there, and see what they mean, and how they give insights into the platform of the Great Tribulation and the end of the world. We start our study with the woman in Revelation 12. Revelation 12:1 "And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars". Mystery woman # 1. Who is she? What clues does the Bible give about her. Interpretations vary. Roman Catholics will say this woman is Mary because... vs 5 says: And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up to God; and to his throne. ...this woman gives birth to Jesus Christ. However the other interpretation of this woman - which I believe, and many Bible scholars, believe, which is more into conformity with scripture, suggest that this woman is actually symbol for the nation of Israel. After all, Jesus was also born in Bethlehem - Israel. Why would this woman really be political Israel? The clues are so rich. This woman - is clothed with the sun. - has a moon under her feet. - has a crown of twelve stars. In the book of Genesis, the same symbolism is found in the context of describing the future nation of Israel as it is shown here: Josephs' dream. That's right, he wore a coat of many colours - remember the play - Joseph and the Technicolour dream-coat. Genesis 37:3 "Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours." Now, here is more insights about Joseph's dream: vs. 9 "And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethern and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me." Again, we see the same context of Joseph's dream to the symbolism of the woman in Revelation 12. Stars, sun, and moon, as in the context of Revelatoin 12 refer to Israel. --------------- Further proof the identity of this woman is Israel and not Mary: vs. 6 "And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that htey should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. (2,260 days = 3.5 years). Mary was never in a wilderness for 3.5 years. But, I'll tell you who will be in the wilderness for 3.5 years and when. The nation of Israel will be in this wilderness for 3.5 years, and I can show you the proof: Jesus said, as a warning to the Israelites to flee into the wilderness in a certain prophetic time in the future. Matthew 24:16 "Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains. 17. Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house. 18. Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his cloehtes. 19. And woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20. But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, no ever shall be." Clearly, Jesus is referring to Israel fleeing to the mountains of some future calamity that will be facing them. What calmity was Jesus referring to? He says so in a previous verse. Matthew 24:15 "When ye therefore shall see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATOIN, spoken by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand). THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION. This rules out the Roman destruction of Israel in 70 AD, because that never occurred during that time. Jesus referenced something spoken about Daniel the prophet. Let's read what the book of Daniel has to say about the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION - Daniel 9:27 "And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate." To better understand what this verse is saying, in context, lets look at the previous verses: Daniel 9:24-26 24. Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and annoint the most Holy. 25. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troubolous times. 26. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but no for himself: and the people of the prince shall come and shall destroy the city and the sancuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined." This means, we have a prophetic timeline divided into 70 weeks. The Israelites were exiled by the Babylonian empire when Daniel had this vision. The time-line would start when the Persian king gives a commandment to rebuild the wall. The King of Persia gave commandment to rebuild the wall in 539 BC, and since that time, the clock started ticking. Read through the verses yourself and see. Each week represents a specific time period. To determine the time, you look at the events that have occurred that the prophecy is referring to and divide them up into equal 'week' members. Week - refers to the Hebrew word shabua, can mean days, months or years. In this context, it means years. Seventy weeks means 490 years, since each week is 7 years. That means, we can guage prophecy. The 69th week has already been fulfilled - 62 weeks Messiah is cut off -- 33 AD. 69 weeks - 62 weeks = 7 weeks = 49 years 49 + 33 = 82 - adjustments of years or weeks because of the prophetic calander is 360 days instead of 365 -- may put it to 70 AD. Therefore, prophecies about Jesus death, and destruction of Jerusalem were accurately set in the book of Daniel, the time during Babylonian captivity. There is a week, that has not been fulfilled yet. It is this week, where the abomination of desolation is the issue. TO BE CONTINUED....
Author Admiral Thrawn
Let's examine the 'final week' in Daniel. Daniel 9:27 "And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured to the desolate." First of all, this sounds very similar to what happened when Israel was under the Greek empire, when one of the Generals, Antichocus Epiphanes, descrecaed the Jewish temple, and sacrificed a pig. He hated the Jewish people. However, this event is ruled out for two reasons. First, it is outside of the parameter of the specified time-line, as the crucificiton of Jesus, as stated in Daniel, occurs before this event, and not after. The Book of Daniel talks of TWO independent entities - not ONE, that symbolises someone who would descrate the temple. One is from the Greek Empire, and the other is from a future Empire that has not been prophetically fulfilled as of yet - and it is this future Empire that will be the focus of study in the book of Revelation. What does the book of Revelation have to say, about something being put into a temple of God, or the New Testament for that matter? Say, a rebuilt- Jewish temple -- the Jews rebuid a temple - and they can do that now because Israel now exists as a nation, .... 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 "...and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God." The Anti-Christ, sits in the rebuilt Jewish temple claiming that he is god. It is a statue that comes to life under the evil powers of the false prophet. Revelation 13:14-18 "And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell upon the earth, that they should make an image of the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads. And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdeom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six" THIS - IS THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION. When all this is occuring in the rebuilt temple in Jerusalem, Israel has already fleed to the wilderness, where they will be protected, clothed, and feed by God, as they were in the wilderness - led by Moses when they left Egypt. God provided Manna for them to eat, so God will provide Manna for the hapless Jews who have seen the Anti-Christ invade their rebuilt temple. Remember - a week is 7 years - then half a week is 3.5 years. The woman was in the wilderness for 3.5 years. When does the Anti-christ invade Israel? Middle of week = 3.5 years. Who is leading Israel during the 3.5 years? Who is protecting Israel during this time. Let me show you: Revelation 11:3 "And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophecy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. vs. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. vs 5. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoueth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed." The time line of a thousand two hundred and threescore days = 2260. = 3.5 years. Remember, Revelatoin 12:6 - "And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days." Timeline the woman is in the wilderness is 2260 days too. = 3.5 years No coincidence. Israel and the two witnesses are in the wilderness fleeing the Anti-Christ. Daniel's mid-week = 3.5 years. It all fits in like glue. Here is some further proof that the Anti-Christ invades Israel for 3.5 years. Revelation 11:2 "...for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they thred under foot forty and two months". 42 months = 3.5 years. Again ---> 3.5 years is the consistent number - it is the mid-week of the last week of Daniel - . Therefore, the woman, referred to in Revelation is Israel, the modern nation of Israel - they have genetically engineered the Red Heifer, soon plans shall be under way to rebuild the Third Temple and recommence sacrifices. A Third Temple will be rebuilt so the rest of the prophecy will be fulfilled. I will continue next time, to continue the story of the woman - and the ultimate victory of Jesus Christ in the Battle of Armageddon, and how the Millenium Kingdom of Jesus Christ will be installed.
