Check this out, a couple months ago, my ex-wife called me early on a sunday morning. I rolled out of bed with my girlfriend to get the phone. I hear the ex's grating voice ask me "Can we have sex?" You can imagine the things going through my head.... But I said....."you know that might be nice, but I can't, Sorry" And she sent me an email a few hours later, what else, Ranting! Good to be back, I'll be a little more regular around here now, I want you all to know that your help through my divorce was invaluable! Love you all in S & D!! I like how you've set boundaries on what is acceptable treatment. While it sucks to break-up...you gotta feel good about the personal growth you've made. There was a time when it would've been difficult for you to recognize the behavior of your former girlfriend as toxic. You and Devildog have raised a question in my mind about the attractive quality of ex-husbands who have moved on. I'm going to have to ponder on that for awhile. I just can't imagine WHAT an ex-wife is thinking when she picks up the phone and propositions the man she's already put through HELL. It's sooooo detached from the emotional reality of the situation. It must've taken you like 10 minutes to pick your jaw up off the floor. It's just THAT shocking! Anyway, it's good to see you. The only thing that runs through my mind in a situation like that is that she must not have any pride. There is NO way I would ever call my ex for a booty call, no matter how much I needed to get laid. First of all, he wasn't all that great to begin with. Second of all, I'd have wayyyyyyy too much pride to do that. WTF is wrong with these women?? Good to see you're back. I hope you stick around and help us out here on the shack! Not that I wanted to have sex with her, but to just have the opportunity to do the things I wanted that she wasn't into. Things I didn't push or do because I was the good, considerate of her feelings kind of husband. Nothing perverted or anything.
