Zeppelin456
Okay, so as I've posted around here before, I am currently getting over a wonderful two year relationship that unfortunately had to end. It's been about two months now and I'm just beginning to feel attracted to some other people...specifically a girl I met in the practice rooms down in the basement of my dorm. I am an amateur recording engineer and I went downstairs to track some drums for a song that I've been working on with a friend, and there was a girl practicing violin. I don't know if I'm desperately looking for something, but I really really was very attracted to her, there seemed to be something intangible at work. I have no idea if this is a two way street however. Anyways, as she was leaving, I asked her if she would mind putting some violin tracks down on this song at a later date, not because I planned on putting violin on the song but just because I wanted to see her again. She happily agreed. My question is, how can I sort of take this out of the practice rooms, so to speak. We're tentatively set to go back downstairs to record in a week or so and I'd like to get to know this person more, not just using her for her violin skills. How can I do this without being creepy? I'm worried that I'm going to mess it up somehow, any advice is appreciated.

konfuzd
Once you're done in the studio, thank her for contributing to the recording, and ask if you can repay her by taking her for coffee or dinner or something, and that will open up the doors to start a conversation beyond the music... good luck!
