At one point, my best friend's gf flirted with me somewhat heavily. Don't know to what degree she just wanted him to be jealous (she did it in front of him), but I had no desire to find out. Would never do that to a friend. I don't know the specifics, so it's hard to say...but my initial reaction is to say that if you have any reason to wonder if your friend is trying to steal your woman, you need to get yourself a new friend...
