bellaD
Hello boys... If you view some of the threads that i have recently posted, you would better understand the situation that I am currently in. My bf and I have been in an argument for basically the entire month of February. He is so childish, stubborn has more pride than 50 guys put togther, and doesn't like to admit when he is wrong. Instead, he will play victim and turn things around on me. He has been acting this way the entire month. Now, i know he loves me and he knows i love him ( at least i hope he knows i love him), but there is NO GETTING THRU HIS THICK SKULL! 2 weeks of silence didn't get thru his thick skull. And when i try to talk or 'communicate' he doesn't wanna hear it probably cuz he knows i am right. My question is, how do i get thru to him???!!!! How can i make him listen?? Or better yet, what can i do to make him realize how hes acting is wrong and very hurtful and most of all immature!!!??? Ugh i hate guys lol.... excuse me, but i am somewhat bitter towards the male species at the moment.
Pyro
Turn around and walk away. You'll be surprised just how fast he will be willing to listen then. Some people are just too immature to be in a relationship. When an individual is mature enough to be unselfish and willing to compromise, then they are ready for companionship. Curmudgeon
If he's BPD, he'll never hear or realize anything. Remember, a definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting to get a different result. What would happen if he was right?
JayKay
Giving someone the 'silent treatment' is very hostile and immature. Tell him, "If you can't talk about this reasonably I don't see how this relationship will ever work out. If you think it's time for me to move on....I will" That might get his attention
