The thing is, in my new school I'm kind of quiet and in the same class we have all we do is stare at each other and smile(like 20x each class). How should I ask her out or to be my gf ? she said, "are you going to the dance, u can hang with us" and i said no(why i said no ? I CAN'T DANCE) Link to post Share on other sites

And then have a place and time ready for when she says yes- I wouldn't even say "Hey, I really like you." Just ask her to hang out someonetime like it's no big deal. Sometime during the week, ask her what her plans are for the weekend. If she has no major plans like being out of town with her parents or something, tell her: "Let's go catch a movie." I wouldn't say "I really like you" because then it sounds like you're already hung up on her and she gets to call all the shots. I think "lets go do such and such" is better than "would you like to go do such and such" because it projects confidence. It assumes that she'd like to hang out with you as opposed to asking her like you're not sure. Believe me. If you act like all the girls in the world would be thrilled to go out with you, they will be. If I had only learned in high school how huge confidence is, I'd have had a lot more fun. Better late than never as they say. Good luck and let us know how it turns out. MD P.S. Under no circumstances do you ever say "Do you want to be my girlfriend." That's what kids in the 5th grade do.
