dearing204 Posted March 8, 2006 Share Posted March 8, 2006 I am 19-years-old, I still live at home since it would save my parents money on me staying in a dorm for college. I have a boyfriend, and I LOVE HIM with all my heart. He asks me to go places and stuff with him. My mom is controlling me and not letting me go anywhere with hardly. He had asked me to move in with him but we have only been dated for a month going on two now. I really want to so I can have more freedom and stuff. I just some advice on what I should do about my mom she is like a control freak or something. Even my sister says she is controlling but I don't know what to do. My sister says that I can move in with her or whatever. But that means that there is going to be a half-hour drive between me and my boyfriend and I don't want that. What should I do? suegail Posted March 8, 2006 Share Posted March 8, 2006 I really don't know how to advise you on where you should live, but I would like to say whatever you decide about that, first and foremost, make your education a priority. That may mean that living at home is the best thing for now - - I don't know, but do base your decision on what will make it easiest for you to continue with your education. This boy you happen to love very much, that's very nice, and it may last...I hope it does, but either way, you'll want to be one day standing firmly on your own two feet. Get your education.
