i would like softer thinner hair (i'm a guy)

basically my hair is short right now, about 1.5" short. i wash my hair (shampoo/conditioner) everynight, and when i walk out of the shower and dry it with a towel, it'll be all fluffy. i want to make it so that it'll just "fall down" and be smoother. i google'd a little and thought myabe my hair is dry from washing frequnetly, so i started washing my hair every other night, yet it still has the same outcome of fluffy poofy hair.

 

i'm going to go out and see if there are any shampoos and/or conditioners that will allow me to get smoother hair, but in the mean time, are there any methods to do it w/o new hair product?

When you say poodle is it curly or just thick like Ross off friends? If its curly then Frizzease should do the job but if its naturally thick then that is yout basic hair type. You cant change your hair thickness and direction just like you cant change your main body type.
