I get hungry but I only eat a tad like a hotdog and a few slices of tomatoes and piece of bread.

 

It is pointless doing these things to lose weight if you end up skinny and sickly. A hotdog, tomatoes, and bread doesn't even remotely resemble a healthy diet.

 

Do you not get it? All the thinness in the world is useless if you feel rotten and look like hell because you haven't eaten the food your body needs to be well.

Losing weight is not everyone's cup of tea. Some go for exercises, gym and others sports. But there are some medications which are really good to cut down the choleterol and thus, help you to decrease your weight. I hope you guys know that cholesterol can incite HEART DISEASES. Just get off your lazy fricken butts and exercise! Taking all this junk can ruin your health. And you don't take cholesterol drugs if you don't need them, btw.

 

EVERYBODY who loses weight and keeps it off does so by changing how they eat permanently and by exercising. Face facts, folks.

drink a gallon of water

get 8 hrs of sleep

reduce portions

dont eat sugar at all

be persistent

Don't be a fool. You will die of starvation if you water fast for 40 days. For God's sake, why will people willlingly do horrible things to their bodies but not do something easy and fun like exercise?

 

DO NOT WATER FAST FOR FORTY DAYS - IT WILL KILL YOU.

 

 

Actually I've known many people to fast for this long and longer. It does great things for your health and you also lose alot of weight.

 

The only way it will kill you is if you start a long fast at an already low weight [lower than the average weight for your height]

 

There is a huge difference between starvation and fasting.

Starvation ONLY occurs after fat storage has been depleted.

 

So think twice before saying its a horrid thing to do.

hey everyone,

Are you serious?! Just living off of water? Just do coke for a day..coke does a body good...to lose weight ;):laugh: But I'm saying that's just as stupid as drinking water and not eating. You'll probably end up gaining more weight that way because your body will be deprived of food, so you end up binging and making up for lost nutrients...bad idea.

Being that I am not a big eater anyway, I couldnt understand why I wasnt losing weight. I try to keep active, I like to walk alot.

It seemed as if I was at a stand still, not gaining and not losing.

I spoke to my Doctor about this because I had become desperate and started purging after meals. It was affective but extremely unhealthy, and gross!

After speaking with my Doctor, she prescribed Xenical for me, which is a pill that "absorbed" any fat intake from any foods I ate and ended in result by having extremely oily stools. Ick!

Needless to say, this medication really didnt work for me and was very expensive because my insurance didnt cover it. It cost me over $200 for a 1 month supply. I came to find out later that this drug was associated with causing cancer. I finished my 1 month supply and threw the bottle away, along with any refills I had left.

After my frustration, she prescribed "Phentermine" which is an appetite suppressant that only cost me $35 per month. This worked AMAZING! I lost a total of 20 lbs in 2 months, never felt hungry, and my health was not effected. The only draw back to this drug is that it is labeled for "short term use". The drug looses it's effect within 3 months, and regardless if you were to "double up" on the doses, the effect is still lost.

The Phentermine used in conjunction with walking and keeping active aided in my weight loss, that and consuming a lot of water...Im a big fan of water!

Just an idea but please speak to your primary physician before taking this drug. It is extremely important to disclose any and all prescription and or illegal drugs to your doctor before they would consider giving you this medication. Also, it is extremely important to not partake in alcohol while taking this drug. It is not available without prescription.

GET HEALTHY, EXCERCISE, EAT PROPERLY AND YOU WILL HAVE A FULLFILLED LIFE!!!!

If you starve yourself you actually put your body into a starvation state where your body actually starts to hold onto fat rather than to loose it. i.e. Anything you intake will be stored because your body is in starvation mode. You won't continue to loose weight and you will also slowing down the metabolism.

 

You'd have to do this for a while to see results and this IS NOT healthy. As soon as you stop you will regain anything you lost, and more than likely MORE than you lost. :eek:

 

If you want to gain confidence and loose weight, then change your diet and start eating healthy and start exercising. Diet and exercise are the only sure fire way to loose weight safely and keep it off.
