alphamale
Actually, I am finding out that the key isn't so much to make a move 'fast', it's to make a move at a natural pace and then get a sense for the pace a woman wants to move at, and respect that. no, the key is to let it be known up front that you want romance and sex. you should move at your own pace while also taking in account her "signals". but you should always be the man and be decisive and take the lead. One of the biggest mistakes a guy makes is coming on too strong. if the woman likes you then you cannot come on strong enough....
basscatcher
if the woman likes you then you cannot come on strong enough.... This is generally true. Just don't make her feel like your going to rape her or control her.
amerikajin
no, the key is to let it be known up front that you want romance and sex. you should move at your own pace while also taking in account her "signals". but you should always be the man and be decisive and take the lead. I agree with the making it known up front what you want part. You should never use friendship as a means to an end with a woman. If you want romance and sex, then make that clear from the start and consistently. The pace, however, takes some figuring out. I definitely think a guy should initiate, but if he runs into a wall, he should pull back - that's what I'm saying. If a guy takes the initiative, strikes out but then pulls back he might get a second chance; if he doesn't pull back, he's going to make the woman feel threatened, and that'll be that. If you're looking for sex and a short-term relationship, then yes, move on to something else without the bat of an eye. If you're looking for something substantitve, then give the woman a chance to be comfortable around you. That doesn't mean wait to eternity in the friends zone, but it means maybe give her an extra date or two so that she can get a sense for who you are as a man.
