visit to a rub & tug - enough to end a marriage?

A little advice please

 

Married 7 years, two children.

 

Hit a rough patch a few months ago and now we have worked things and we are very happy.

 

It has just come to my attention that during the rough patch, he paid for a hand job at one of those erotic massage places. I asked if this was true and he confirmed it in fact true.

 

I am upset on so many different levels. He says he honestly thought our marriage was over. But I am thinking the operative word here is "thought" he didn't know for sure.

 

I am not sure how to handle this.
