Miss Mojo
...i just want to express my heartfelt sympathies to the victims, families and friends of the terrorist attack in the u.s. even from the other side of the world, where i sit in sydney, we are all thinking of you, praying for you, hoping to God for some small miracles, and supporting you 100%. from the moment i heard of this tragedy i wanted to be able to do something to help...and now i can, from thousands of miles away. i will be doing my bit tomorrow at the blood bank. australians have been urged to donate blood to send to the victims of this disaster. i urge those, who are willing and able, to donate blood. it is desperately needed. once again, i express my deepest sympathies in this time of turmoil, to the victims, to all those who have friends and relatives in new york, and to my fellow australians who are in new york. generally, i don't believe in miracles, but i pray that i can be converted. we all stand with you and we are all thinking of you. Tony T
Your sentiments are deeply appreciated by all, I'm sure. In addition to praying for the victims, I also pray that someday I will understand why people would plan for a year or more to die and take thousands with them in a cowardly, senseless act of violence that has no meaning for anyone and an act that will change nothing for the better. YOU WRITE: "generally, i don't believe in miracles, but i pray that i can be converted" Exactly what did you want to be converted to? An American...that's easy enough. Again, God Bless You for your kind support from downunder. This event has brought our country together in supporting the victims and their families and the effort to hunt down and bring those guilty of these acts to swift and proper justice. Dragonflys
Hi Miss Mojo Vey kind words. As you know I'm an Aussie living in New York now and it is devastating. Everyone is in a state of shock and sadness. Our sense of freedom has been violated. Such a sad day, I just don't know what to say any more. I just hope as many survive as possible and that the US, China, Europe, Russia and Australia among others band together to eliminate or significantly reduce the threat or terrorism in the world, so we can approach a free, safe world again. I know one thing, New York will never be the same again after this. Oliver

Miss Mojo
hi oliver, it's good to hear that you are safe. among others, i thought of you being in new york when i heard about this. this incident has really thrown my views on humanity and what's possible. i can honestly say i have never been so shocked in my life. it's a total travesty that has directly or indirectly affected us worldwide. like you said, it's hard to know what to say anymore. take care

Miss Mojo
hi tony, i echo everything you have said. i cannot seem to put all my words together properly to describe what has happened....cowardly, disgusting, cruel, inhumane....no words in the english language are strong enough to convey the world's thoughts on this situation. i felt physically sick yesterday and i shed tears for all those involved, and i'm on the other side of the world and everyone i know who was there was lucky enough to escape. the impact this has had worldwide is of ginormous (sic) proportions. i understand that you also have friends involved in this tragedy. i hope that you find them well, and i hope that you too are looking after yourself. take care
