I remember your other posts...One thing I know I've suggested to you is to try therapy. It WILL help you open up, learn how to be yourself, gain confidence and get over social anxiety, so you can be happy in life.

For starters, practice talking to yourself infront of the bathroom mirror. Look yourself in the eyes. It may sound stupid, but you do this daily, your comfort level will improve and you'll feel confident not to be shy around people.

Hope this helps.

Echoing WWIU, social anxiety is usually the result of low self-esteem and a poor self-image. Those can both be worked on. Therapy can help with that. Once you become your own best friend and learn to enjoy your own company, you'll attract others.

Sorry if that sounds rude. But if no one knows you then there is no reason to be shy. Have fun, put yourself in different situations. You are missing out on a lot by being shy. Taking a while to warm up is one thing but, don't wait to long, so many people to meet and learn things from!

I agree with Courtney.

I used to be shy but not anymore. You have all it takes to come out and live in the open. You were made for that, weren't you? Try these:

1. End the suspense. Look honestly at yourself now and accept all you see.

2. Be with others the same as you are with yourself. Share your true personality. Share who you are.

3. Don't ever wish to seem better or different. Even the greatest superstar musn't if he wants to feel comfortable in his own skin. Aim for normal and natural.

4. Use what is yours- your mind, your ideas, your opinions, your feelings. You have plenty of your own stuff to work with. That's what people do.

5. "Believe something". If the situation grows bad, accept one thing about it and believe it. Say it in words and make the knowledge yours.

Good luck! You can do it. Although I know you will eventually; it's inevitable.

:)
