Shyguy86
Not possible! A pound of body fat has 3500 calories. Lets say your diet consists of on average 2000 calories a day. So you would need to not eat a single calorie and burn off another 1500 calories running or through some other form of exercise EACH DAY FOR TWO WEEKS! You would end up in the hospital or the morgue. If anyone has lost 14 pounds in 2 weeks than it was mostly water which is also bad for you because you'll end up being dehydrated. Do it the healthy way, eat a healthier diet and exercise regularly. It'll take a hell of a lot longer but there's a better chance of it staying off. I'd say a realistic goal for two weeks would be 2 pounds NOT

MattB
doing this is a very bad idea. When you stop eating all together, your body goes into survival mode. It figures you need your fat for when you have to become active and will try and store up as much as you can. So any calories you eat during this time, or at the end when you start eating again, will be stored as fat. To fuel your body, it will start to metabolize muscle tissue. So all that this type of fasting does is make you lose muscle mass and gain body fat. You lost weight from the loss in muscle. Remember that muscle is more dense (read: heavier) then fat, so losing muscle will produce a more dramatic weight drop then losing fat. If you want to lose fat you have to burn more calories then you consume, but eat enough calories to sustain the workout. So eat the majority of your calories during the part of the day you are active (morning and early afternoon) then don't eat a lot for dinner or before bed. If you're sitting on the couch watchin TV or sleeping, you aren't burning may calories....so you shouldn't eat a bunch of them right before.

Guest
Just get a nice outfit that flatters you in a size that fits you. Damaging your body for the sake of one party is not a real smart idea.
MattB
running is an outstanding exercise to burn calories. Remember that big muscles burn more calories, and the biggest muscles are in your legs... So running and riding are both exercises that will burn a ton of calories. Regardless what you do, make sure that you focus on volume and not intensity. As the workout get's harder, your body switches from burning fat to burning another source of energy called glycogen. If you are burning primarily glycogen, you aren't burning fat, and you won't lose weight. a good metric to use is to be able to maintain a conversation while running. If it's hard to talk, slow down.
