tracerit
I've only had one relationship, a long time too (2 years). We were friends for two months, hung out EVERYDAY!!! and I never pushed forward for us to be together. I guess we were dating after the forth week when we started hugging and holding hands, but I never thought much of it and still considered us friends. She made many indications that she wanted me to take the first step, but i was a shy reserved guy before her, but i was really outgoing with her. It's hard to say why I didn't make the first move, I suppose I was having so much fun with her, I never thought about anything else. So after two months, she got tired of waiting, and asked me out, and I said yes. But honestly, for those two months, I thought we were just friends, it never crossed my mind that we should be a couple... After our breakup, I started asking my friends about relationships, reading online about others' relationships, and followed my ex's new relationship with the new guy. So my question is, what are the stages of a relationship? Friends>Dating>Couple? What exactly is dating? I hear many different things, some say it's to test the waters to see if the two should be a couple, others say it's being a couple.
