I was talking to a friend who I was catching up with, and they asked what we did for our 1 year anniversary. I was like 'we stayed in, watched a movie and had some food, had sex, went to sleep'. Pretty successful night all in all, I got to see some Brad Pitt and there was the sex. Good stuff!! She looked at me strangely and was like 'Seriously, what did you do?' Is it THAT strange to want to spend a quiet night alone together instead of spending an expensive night out, whilst I complain about how sore my feet are because of my shoes, and he complains because I only want a salad and pasta because I am not in the mood for rich food... I enjoyed myself much more staying in!! So, are we just getting like an old married couple or what? Link to post Share on other sites

Other people have thought it was strange. I just dont see what the big deal 1 year anniversarys are. Sure, if I was married it would be different. We didnt even exchange presents because it was almost Christmas. Itd be like buying the easter eggs when they come on the shelves about 3 days after Christmas. Its present cheating! I like celebrating anniversaries but really it's just an excuse to drink margaritas and f*** all night ;) I personally love staying in and cuddling, watching movies, ect...
