He told me he works in Company A but I found out he actually works in company B with less salary... I still haven't told him i know the truth, what should i do? i'm very upset about it... If I worked for Company A, I wouldn't want anybody to know either. Tell him you know the truth about where he works and it's OK. He probably lies often about certain things because of shame, low self esteem, and his need to be accepted by others. Most likely the behavior stems from his childhood. I once knew a guy who told females at bars that he was a doctor. I was surprised at the number of women he was able to get to date him. A sad commentary indeed but the masses do react more favorably to certain professions and workplaces than others. Link to post Share on other sites
