How to ask a guy's phone numbers without looking desperate?

I'm going to meet this guy again at a party. I'm sure we're gonna have a conversation, if in the end he doesnt initiate to ask my numbers, I'm gonna ask his. How to ask it in a fun witty way without looking needy/desperate/obsessed?

I dont have name cards to give.

I'm thinking about: I had a great time talking to you, how can I reach you if I want to call you 10 times a day?

Tell him you had a great time and you'd like to talk to him again, then pull out a piece of paper and pen (which you previously prepared, of course), write your number and/or address, and give it to him. This way, you will also know just how interested is he, and you don't look desperate, since he is the one who will have to initiate contact.

Agreed! It's definitely best to give him your contact details because that way you aren't pressurising him to contact you. If you asked for his details that might seem more forward. It's an odd concept but I've noticed that seems to be the way it goes. I think you'll do fine. Enjoy yourself!

yep, this is the way to go. most guys are pretty thick (like myself) so i'd advise against being overly subtle otherwise he might think you just wanna sell insurance. flirt flirt flirt, be honest about you interest, then offer your number

 

btw, with 'cards', fine professionally, but otherwise i think they're pretty tacky
