tikigods
Oh thats prefectly normal, in fact I don't get how some people can always be on the go, cause man that would just drain me! Sometimes just hanging out and watching a good movie alone is just what the doctor ordered
Yamaha
Some people need others to feel happy but you obviously are capable of happiness by yourself. Not only is this normal it is quite healthy.
blind_otter
Hell yeah it's normal. If someone needs to be around other people all the time to feel like they are enjoying themselves, they have serious issues.

Guest
I'm the kind of person who needs balance. I like to spend two nights in a row with other people.... then 1-2 nights just home, enjoying quiet things.
Curmudgeon
If you enjoy your own company, that's very healthy. You should always be your own best friend and sometimes, those of us who like ourselves enjoy the peace, quiet and solitude of simply being alone.

2sunny
But its healthy to go out and socialize every once in a while? I'm sure it is@ Keep a good balance. It is nice and wonderful to enjoy solitude time to do the things that interest you, and equally as nice to enjoy socializing time with people that interest you!
Curmudgeon
Sure it is. We're by nature social animals so interacting with others is not just nice but necessary. However, so is solitude and reflection.

aleatoryd
I agree with what has been said. Time alone is not only healthy but can be really enjoyable. I have a very busy life most of the time being at University (yeah well some students have to work when we reach Final year doh!). Being in a hectic environment (not that it isn't fun) can certainly be tiring. There are so many distractions! I'm home at my parents for a few days and its a good time to relax, read books, chill out to music and surf the net! That sort of thing. I really need time out sometime just to be myself. Here I can relax and think about other things in life.
Sand&Water
I really need time out sometime just to be myself. Here I can relax and think about other things in life. "An unexamined life, is not worth living". That's my task every single day. Taken in moderation, with specific instructions goes a long way for me; without going insane at the same time! aleatoryd
I agree Sand&Water! After all if you're not happy being with yourself, well there would be times when you'd be lonely and dissatisfied. People need to be comfortable with their own space and explore who they are. I like the Limp Bizkit lyrics "I analyse every second I exist..." No idea what song they just stuck in my head! ddnnee
spending time at home depends on the person's personality. I myself like to spend time at home upgrading/repairing the house while ALL my friends prefer going out to movies on friday and saturday night. They often eat out at restaurant and go shopping. They all have tried to turn me and criticize me by saying i am antisocial. They obviously have no clue what that means and they probably meant "not very socialable". Normality is defined by the general public - the norm. If MOST people think going out is normal, then those of us who prefer staying home are not normal.
