tikigods
There is no "fast" way to lose weight if you want to remain healthy.

honeybunch2k5
I wouldn't suggest losing weight to fast. The less time you take to lose the weight, the faster you put it back on. If you don't change your lifestyle, you will probably regain all the weight and maybe more (I've done that before). However, I will give you tips for general health. And if you are going to cut calories, do not consume less than 1200. Lower than that the body goes into famine mode and your metabolism slows down. Drink loads of water at least 64 ounces more if you are exercising. Strength training like lifting weights increase metabolism.
Citizen Erased
I dont know about fast, but I know where to start. Look at your diet and think about what you could cut out. You obviously need meat, vegetables, nuts, fruits etc. Calculate the amount of fatty foods you eat in a week. Do you drink soft drink instead of water or juice? Do you REALLY need takeaway once a week? How much chocolate, chips, lollies etc do you eat? Food is there to survive on, not to consume so that you endanger your health. Start by cutting out all of the junk food in your life and then look to your exercise. If you arent comfortable with going to a gym, then buy your own equipment (it is amazing what you can find for cheap when you REALLY look). Get into doing an hour of exercise each day, then go from there. I dont like the word diet. I believe that when you choose the correct meal plan for you (face it, I bet you could come up with a healthy week by week plan without joining any diet groups) and have daily exercise then you will get into a routine and it will be like you are living again and not surviving. Vertex
Lose weight? Hmmm I don't know if you can "lose" it, but you can have a lower weight if you travel to, say, the moon. Losing mass... that's another story.
littlepiggy1
For overweight people, it's usually possible to lose 5 to 10 pounds relatively quickly. That's what a lot of those weight loss centers bank on when they advertise fast weight loss. But to lose more weight and keep it off in the longterm requires a healthy diet and regular exercise. Essentially, you need to live a healthier lifestyle. There's really no other magic solution. One last thing is that everyone's body is different. Some people will naturally weigh more than others. It's all about genetics. So recognizing your own limitations and working within those limitations will lead to a healthier lifestyle as opposed to chasing unrealistic goals. Dawn82
Lose weight fast? thats easy... Strave yourself! and do tons of cardio till you drop dead. I'd be more worried about losing Fat and not weight. and in that case you gotta make lifestyle changes and its a slow and gradual process. there is no magic pill Shahar. Krystin
If you drink sodas - Don't the calorie calculation on the back of them isn't really accurate and they bloat you..and make it hard to LOSE weight and burn fat. Try changing what you eat if its really unhealthy and you know it, dont cut it out but dont eat as much, instead go to the store and buy somthing yummy but healthy like cereal or lean pockets... working out helps aLOT. I know its hard to motivate urself to do it, but try somthing simple and you should see results fairly quickly.
frischi
Since June of 2005 my wife and I have lost 90 lbs together because we learned how to eat and we also excersised. If you don't know what and how to eat it then you won't lose anything. And if your lucky to lose it, you will surely gain it back just as fast. Patience is the key. Believe me, it is worth the wait. And when you do lose the weight you wan ou will feel fantastic and have over flowing pride in what you have accomplished. I carry a picture of my wife and I of our fat days and I show it every chance I get because of the great accomplishment it was for us to achieve that. We have worked hard and look great and feel great. We still have more to lose but it will go away.
suga
Caffiene suppresses your appetite and boosts your metabolism...I like diet mountain dew because it wont stain your teeth like coffee or dark colored sodas and its 0 calories...Caffiene is only bad for you if you have problems sleeping or if you have heart problems it may cause heart palpatations...may make you a bit jittery at times if you have too much...other than that it is good for you...keeps your mind alert. Clair
I think supressing your appetite is not healthy. Diet drinks have aspartame, which is toxic. Caffeine will cause heart problems, even if one doesn't seem to have them now, the changes might already be happening in the body. It's absolutely not good for you. If you are not alert, you have to change something in your lifestyle, don't rely on a drug. When the body is tired, that means it needs rest or more sleep during the night. By using caffeine, you force your heart to overwork.
Terii
You may try diet pills too. If natural weight loss is too slow for you. More info on weight loss at dietpillsnews.com
suga
There is alot of contradictory literature on health and nutrition...plus some of it is based on propaganda...but everyone agrees to lose wieght you need to eat less and burn more calories through exercise...but not starve yourself or over exhaust yourself...also make sure you get all of your vitamins and minerals mostly from food...only 2% of the vitamins you take will be absorbed and its best for them to be chelated for better absorbtion and plenty of fiber and Omega 3 fatty acids to lower colesterol and avoid transfats wich can raise colesterol because there are good fats and bad fats...but then too much of a good thing can make you fat and defeat the purpose...starving yourself can permanently damage your metabolism slowing it down for good...get plenty of rest at least 6 to 8 hours a night mabey more depending on the person...and drink plenty of water wich keeps everything hydrated and running smoothly...dont become so obsessive you can not enjoy life...wieght training will build muscle but then you also have to strech because it can shorten muscles...and if you stretch you have to warm up first with cardio so as not to tear muscle and not over stretch a little pain but not too much...hold for 30 seconds 2-5 times about 5 times a week to improve flexibility. littlekitty
Apart from the odd post here and there, I'm glad to see how many people recommended the only sure fire way. Diet + Exercise + Slow Process. There is no fast, easy way to the body beautiful. The only way to really achieve the body beautiful is hard work, hard work, more hard work and a lifestyle change. Good luck.. and please, leave the diet pill and fad diets alone. I guarantee you'll not only regain everything you've lost, but more with it.

honeybunch2k5
Before you think about a fad diet: Atkins diet: This man died weighing 250 lbs. What does that say? I do believe he died of heart failure. Certain carbs are goodl Too much cholesterol foods-bad! Good carbs: These are your whole grains. Not to mention fruits and veggies. These are unrefined. These are a good source of fiber, protein, and minerals. How do you know if something is whole? It should say bran or whole weat on the package. "Whole" should be the first word you see on the list of ingredients. Example: Rye, whole wheat bred, bran cereal. Bad carbs:Sugar. This is the most refined carb. White bread. Many do not have the nutritional content as wheat bread and are not as filling. I would not suggest diet pills. Change your lifestyle. Good in shape. You will reap the benefits of having a fantastic body inside and out.
