Deano
I just started a new job and there is a girl at work that I really like she looks at me and smiles and talks to me asks me questions about myself and sometimes playfully teases me. Anyway today I had an argument with her and got her really mad she got all mad and ignored me for the last 30 mins of work and it really upset me she left before me and didn't even say goodbye she usually does I should not have told her to loosen up lol before the argument she was all happy and looking into my eyes and staring at me and talking to me on the afternoon tea break. What should I do will she hate me for good now should I appologise will she ever like me again i'm really confused and upset I really like this girl
Agent M
I know that I, as a woman, tend to really respect it when guys give me a sincere apology, as long as one is deserved. But be honest about any apology you give...don't apologize for anything you aren't guilty of. Perhaps try and talk it over with her, but at this stage it's probably best not to belabor it. I don't think she will hate you forever, these things happen. Good luck.

aleatoryd
1. You should just apologise and see how things go from there. 2. Relationships at work can be difficult and cause problems. 3. Try to get to know her outside work. I used to know a girl at my old part time job years ago and we got on really well. We flirted, joked and enjoyed each others company. However she didn't feel anything for me other than just good fun. Had I opened my eyes I'd have realised she treated lots of guys the same way. How much she talks to you and gives you lines to follow up on will indicate whether this is juust work time fun or something more serious. Look for opportunities to suggest going out somewhere for a date like if she says she likes certain music say "hey #### are playing at the where ever you interested in going?" or if she asks you what you like then you say a music/film and she might say it sounds interesting. So then you playfully invite her. Either way you need to get back to being friends and just probe how serious she is. See how she acts round other guys. But remember sometimes its just work fooling around and flirting for fun. Be very careful because work relationships can be very complicated especially if other workers and gossip gets involved. You really need to get to know her better and preferably outside the work environment where people can be very different to the "work persona".
Rosalind
"tea break" - that's cute, I haven't actually heard that before You really should apologize to her...and think twice about pursuing a relationship with a co-worker.
