what is he thinkking??!!

Recommended Posts

here it goes, my ex and i got married at age 20 in 1991. we had a child in 1996 and divorced in 1999. he was never home because he chose to work so often, that i turned my attention to someone else, a woman. at the time i thought i was a lesbian and now i do not. well, since our divorce he has been married and divorced two times. he is now on his fourth marriage, it is his fiance's third marriage. he has no other children.

i have always known he has feelings for me, i can see it in his eyes. our relationship is somewhat friendly due to our child. when he gets a new girlfriend or wife he is always mean to me and she becomes his number one priority, not his child. well on Easter i told him that i loved him and he said it back to me. mind you, he is getting married next week for the fourth time. i began having feelings for him again several months ago. i told him about those feelings two nights ago. he said maybe five words. he never denied his feeling nor did he confirm anything. he did tell me that he did not want to go backwards but forwards!!?? that statement didn't mean anything to me. i think he said it to have something to say. i told him we are different people now. like i said we married at age 20 and we are now 35. i have grown and matured a lot. my thought process is totally different. anyways, i was wondering what is he thinking?? could we possibly work it out or not??? i am totally confused!!

he has been married and divorced two other times. so this marriage does not make any sense to me.

I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. we just have this connection. we do have a child together, we were each other's first loves, and first sexual experience. I truly do love him. i think he is making a mistake in this marriage. but i guess that is none of my business. i just hate the fact that our child gets close to these people then they are gone. do you think his new marriage will last? like i said it is his fourth and her third.

It doesn't need to, especially since you've already been one of his failed marriages.

If his track record doesn't tell you anything then by all means, give it a go and then in a few years, if it even takes that long, you can come back and tell us how it ended AGAIN!

well i found out through public information that my ex's new wife has a brand new misdemeanor of passing a bad check that was filed on april 19. although it is only a misdemeanor i feel bad for him. he cannot manage money at all and it is obvious she can't either. sounds like the working for a great marriage!
