His Dad is Getting in The Way of our Happiness

to begin, much advice would be appreciated extremely.

 

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 2 months and a week. I live in Michigan while my boy lives in North Carolina(630 miles) I'm 16, he's 17. His dad found out about us and said if my boyfriend doesn't end it, then he will himself. His dad doesn't like that I live in another state, thinks it's too much pressure, but he never asked Tyler how he felt about it. So Tyler did text me and tell me he can't go out with me, and I have been devasted. He is the first to treat me right and with that I have finally felt love and I can't let it go. I have not talked to him for 4 days because he got grounded from the phone before this happened and this weekend he went on vacation for two days for his moms birthday. I wrote his dad a long email to tell him the kind of person I am and the way long distance relationships work if you give them the chance. I'm hoping htat will do something. One day I think I'm fine, but at night I start crying because I miss his voice and how he was with me, and all he's doing is protecting me from his dad...he doesn't want me to go through anything that his dad could be accountable for. I know I'm new, sorry for the first post being sad, but I really need to see other ppls views on what I can do. Thanks so much.

I know it must be hard but i highly suggest you try to move on. Im in a LDR and i would describe it as something i dont regret having but something i would never have again. Its almost a year now and me too in the beginning was hopeful and so was she but ive visted 3 times now but i still dont feel right. The first 6 months were great but it just goes to a point where you are in a gap of visiting and you are fighting more often and it makes you wonder if its the right thing and yada yada yada. Basically i know its hard but dont pursue it , you will thank yourself later for when you find the guy where you live.
