vi_pn_babe25
I've been trying to get over doing ephedrine, but believe me it's harder than you think. I started popping pills about 3 years ago, pills such as ephedrine, and caffiene pills. But then I stopped it for a year, and just recently about 3 months ago I started doing it again. I do at the most 2 a day but sometimes 3. I've been trying to get off them since I know it's not good for me. Actually I almost put myself in the hospital...I had popped 2 pills earlier in the day and then later that night I ended up taking 2 esctacy pills and a line of coke and literally it almost made me have a heart attack because my heart was beating soo fast. Really the only reason why I do it in the first place is because it's always helped me stay skinny, I'm 5'8" 110-115 lbs, and I like the high it gives me. But I really need to stop and stop for good, before something really bad happens. I did stop for a good solid week but ended up being so lathargic, and tired all the time that I started it back up again. So please if anyone has any advice on how to completely kick this habit then let me know!
confused6925
isn't ephedra illegal? how do u get it? i was addicted to it when i was anorexic. I lost a lot of weight and felt really good about myself. I decided to stop when i started having serious breathing problems. i haven't taken any in probably 18 mo. and still have breathing problems. That is a side effect so i do believe thats whats caused it. Also, i gained panic attacks. i had a lot of stess in my life w/my bro being a heroin addict, so i do put some blame on that but also i learned that ephedra can give u anxiety and panic attacks for the rest of your life. i wish i never started taking ephedra. Author vi_pn_babe25
It is illegal, but as long as they advertise it for use for asthma then they can sell it, I believe. I get mine for various gas stations, which I'm sure more truck drivers buy it than just every day people. Sometimes they even call the pills, "truckers speed" But yah the only real reason why I do it is stay skinny. And it does help but being skinny isn't worth my long term health. It also gives you high blood pressure which is bad. So today is the day I'm going to try to quit, it's just gonna be really hard because my body has gotten so used to it! confused6925
from what i remember it was very hard. the physical effects were only the fact that i was pretty tired and had lost energy. i just had to drink more coffee. i think the worst part was the mental effects. i was terrified i would get fat. luckily, i didn't gain any weight after taking them. good luck, but like i said before you better stop, because of the side effects i told you i had and still have.
