Practicing always helped me when I had to keep my mind off of certain things. Try learning something new. I went from learning basic chords and tablature to basic blues.

You might want to try a different instrument( hence your question) or a new hobby until you are over him.

There are so many instruments that i would love to learn. I just have too much going on right now. I suppose years from now when school and other BS is taken care of, I can try. I want to learn the saxaphone and the harmonica. Do you have any other interests besides guitar and the fiddle?

It relaxes me. Its always good to vent and get the feelings out in the open. Yeah that happens to the best of us. Like I said before, try a new hobby. You are bound to meet some new smiling faces. I haven't seen you around here until today. I must say welcome to the shack. Come for the advice, but stay for the humor. You will see that some threads are just full of humor.
