I know the county I live in you can look it all up on the internet as soon as it is filed.. We also have all civil/criminal court records online as well as all public records like deeds and liens..

All are accessable without any fees and can be accessed by anyone with inet access

Try and google the county he lives in for online public records

Alternatively and I realize that may well not be what you consider an option which is why you even posted.... discussing it with him. Are you positive there's no way you could in fact find this out from him with a degree of certainty or have you checked and don't trust his response?

thanks all for the quick response! I have asked him, but I just want to be very sure. That is my only insecurity with him right now. I think I watch too much tv. I cant put anything past anyone anymore. Men are capable (well not just men) people are capable of anything especially lies so you have to cross your t's and dot your i's these days!

This of course, makes perfect sense if it's a very new relationship but I for one found that, at times, it's the beginning of a rather dangerous slope towards feeling more inclined to check than take one's word about something.

For example I can't count how many people I've worked with started being suspicious of their partner after watching a Cheaters marathon ;)
