I am 48 years old and a grandmother 10 times over. My twins are 31 this year and both have 5 children. My youngest is 26. We are all the best of friends and they love having such a young mom and mamaw. I'm the bomb, so they say! Matter of fact, I just recently returned from doing humanitarian aid in Haiti and am going to be doing a 2 year stint in the peace corps next year... probably africa or the caribbean. Life is what you make it. Welcome Caroline! Ah yes, I am the new 46 yr old Mom Mom. 10 for you!! Yikes! But how wonderful. Yes, our little addition has brought more joy and love to the family that one can hope for and its absolutely precious! I have every intention of buy this one little teeny tiny hiking boots and taking her for long walks in the woods and every place imaginable! Her mom is not an outdoors person and she's panicking I'll make her into a tomboy!! lol! She also has 2 girls of her own 4 and 2. But I'm gonna make my mark with these girls! And get them out in this wonderful world! What I'm starting to realize is that I want to be what my grandfather was to me. I have soooooooo many precious precious memories of him and I miss him more than anyone! He spent so much time with me. I haven't heard from him since Saturday afternoon, so I'm in a bit of a funk and therefore, I am going to stay in my status quo mode. I'm well aware there could be any number of reasons, but I've gotten ahead of myself, and I have to stop that. So much for getting my hopes up. I'm in my own little rollercoaster with the dating world. In my quest to show others that life goes on and there's something to look forward to, I end up with egg all over my face.
