KittenMoon
Today I bought new shoes, new workout pants and took my first jog even- first time I had run since high school gym! I walk and I used to go to the gym and use the cardio/weight machines, but this is totally new. And exhausting. I expect to be in pain tomorrow.....

Haha, wish i had the courage to out jogging....i'd probably get hunted down by the local youths and their baseball bats. I've found the best Gym ever though Virgin Active i went for an interview there and if i get the job i'll also get free membership I could always run up and down the stairs in my house. hehehe
2good2b4gotten
I get my exercise by riding my bicycle but I'd never go out by myself. We go to bike trails at parks...its a lot of fun. Just don't overdo when you are starting out.

Ladywithafan
...that I'm not getting up in the morning to go to & I realized that walking/jogging the beach, at the end of my street, is much better. We just had horrible RED TIDE last year in FL and couldn't go outside most of the year...I know that sounds bad but was true! You go outside, start breathing & then hacking/coughing...this year; like a dream come true... ...so I hear ya, been doing thirty min. a day with my walkman along the shore. Getting a bike, soon (i.e. gas & exercise) and have a weight bench...why pay the gym? Unless you have to, get outside, the weather's great!
