flowergirl Posted May 1, 2006 Share Posted May 1, 2006 Hey, everyone. I hope you guys are all doing well. Anyway, Here's my story. Just this morning, I told my mom, after weeks of her badgering me to get a haircut, that I was gonna go to a salon to get it cut and shaped. Well, she got really angry, and said that it was really rude of me not to have told her earlier that that was what I was gonna do, because when she told me the other day that she was gonna cut my hair, I'd said ok, we'll cut it the next day. But then I changed my mind and didn't tell her right away that that's what I'd done. So, I told her this morning, and that's when she went off. She said, aside from the fact that it was rude to agree to a home haircut, and then say I was going to a salon, she was offended that she'd helped me with my hair before (by cutting out all the permed, dead hair out) and now I was going to a salon, whre she's sure they'll f***k up my hair, because that's what's happened every other time I've gone to one. I'm so upset, I of course, didn't mean to hurt her feelings,a nd there was no ill intention in my decision, I just wanna see what my hair might look like if a professional does it. I did apologize for not telling her before that I'd changed my mind, but I don't know what else I can say. Link to post Share on other sites
