jonathan19 Posted May 3, 2006 Share Posted May 3, 2006 Hi im jonathan, im about to turn 19, and about a year and 3 months ago i lost abou 30lbs in the worst way possible, well almost...i basically ate like 600 calories a day for like 2 months...i lost all the weight but the bummer was i lost all the muscle too, and have gotten it all back yet...to the point....i have a little bit of skin leftover pretty much only in my stomach, it doesn't really droop, its really very minor, but because of it i can't see my abs, or anything, and its gross....what can i do to get rid of it...i've been doing abs for month and months and it helps but i don't see it actually getting rid of the whole problem....i can't do surgery i have to pay for college right now....please please help me what i should i do?!?! btw weighed 170 now 145 thanks!!! Dawn82 Posted May 3, 2006 Share Posted May 3, 2006 are you certain its loose skin? can you provide a picture? 30lbs in 2 months is fast but I have not heard of loose skin problems from ppl who lost "only" 30lbs... more like the 70-100lbs+ range. It could be some leftovers stubborn fat anyhow best solution for minor loose skin is time. it will get better as you mantaine new weight for a long duration. if its some extra fat i would not recommand losing more weight unless you are like under 5'7. better to try and get some of your lost muscle mass back. it would make it easier to lose the last few pounds of stubborn belly fat later on. Author jonathan19 Posted May 3, 2006 Author Share Posted May 3, 2006 ok what ur saying actually makes a lot of sense...even tho is obvious there is just a little bit of loose skin, its prolly stubborn stubborn fat...but with how i eat, and i workout on weights everday, and prior to that doing 30 mins aerobic usually on the stairmaster burning close to 500 calories just from aerobic...so what more can i do?!?! Author jonathan19 Posted May 3, 2006 Author Share Posted May 3, 2006 ok im 5'10 145lbs about to turn 19, lost somewhere between 30 and 40 lbs, workout daily....One day Pecs/Delts and abs and triceps, and the other day back/legs and biceps...b4 each workout i do a rigourous aerboic warmup which usually consists of either running 4 miles or going on the stairmaster for 30mins...usually just from the warmup im burning give or take 500 calories....what i eat: is very very sparatic...because of my crazy schedule i don't eat meals i just snack when i have time....yes i know its horrible 4 u, but im not gaining any weight and have kept the weight off for over a year.... BULK UP. get your nutrition straight 5-6 meals a day loads of protein for your muscles. and try to eat 500 calories over your maintaince. you need some meat on your bones. Shahar. hey my name is Brandi, i'm 16 and well i think i might be 5'3 but im not real sure but i used to weight 255lbs. and now i'm back and forth from 170-180. I look like i would weigh about 150. Why don't i? I have excess skin on my stomach, arms, legs, and breasts. And i mean a lot of skin. i do a cardio tape for only an hour. And sometimes like every 2 or 3 days i have softball games. But i have tried everything to get rid of this skin and extra fat. And i try not to eat much but i dont have anything else to do... will you help me please? Link to post Share on other sites
