sensitive skin-hair removal .

my best mate is a beauty salon professional, she waxed my armpits once and OMG it nearly ruined our friendship! honestly, to her, the female parts are the same as a hardrive for me (im a computer scientist), they are just skin and hair that needs to be removed.

i had bikini line done once and hell yes its painful, but as my mate tells me the more you wax the finer the hair grows back so it becomes less painful and it takes longer and longer for hair to regrow. still risk of ingrown hairs though, these are what cause the red bumps, and thats the same reason you get them from creams and shaving. You have to EXFOLIATE and MOISTUIRISE really regularly to stop these angry red guys. if you can find Aqueous cream near you i have found it brilliant for leg shaving, ever since i started using it every day i never get razor burn.

I answered the same thread a few weeks ago.

I recommend a product called DONT LAUGH Coochie Cream. Its a product made for strippers. You do have to shave but its for sensitive skin and it leave no rash marks or bumps at all. If you dont want to wax but still want to have that smooth feeling i totally recommend it. It really works;)

I also wax. The first time was painful, get the right kind of wax though. I don't use the strip kind. The wax i use hardens, then you pull the wax off and out comes the hair. It's something you get used to, cuz i HATE shaving. I have hair growing back within hours. With waxing, it takes weeks! Much smoother too! You get used to it after a while. Determination is the key.

Pada, waxing doesn't hurt as much as you think it will. They rip the wax off and they apply pressure to area to prevent the sensation of pain from rising up. I'm very sensitve skinned and pale too and waxing still gives me ingrowns and rash. I'm going to save up for laser removal - it's supposed to work best on pale skin with dark hair - it's practically been designed for me.

I gotta go with Star Gazer, if you can afford it, the Laser treatments are awesome. It hurts WAY WAY less than a bikini wax. Granted it takes a few times for it to get all the hair and it's $$$, but it's worth every penny.

I've also got sensitive skin, and so don't shave unless I'm headed to the beach. Doing this laser treatment has been awesome. It works best on light skin and dark hair. So, if you really glow in the dark cause you are so white, then it might work wonders.

The thing to remember is that you can't go into the sun for a couple weeks afterward, so it isn't like a bikini wax in the sense that you shouldn't just do it before you head to the beach.
