Divorced
Hi everyone, In a few days I will have the first anniversary since my wife and I split up. She currently has no job and no money so she is still living in my house. I'm really not sure how to handle the day of our anniversary. She has handled the divorce fairly well, but occasionally she has a breakdown and will cry for hours. She has no family near us, no friends, nobody but me. This would have been our 7th anniversary. Any ideas on how to deal with it? I don't want to make things worse by doing the wrong thing. Thanks
Ed
In my part of the world you can't get divorced unless or until you have lived 'seperate and apart' for at least 6 months. I guess you two can get along well enough to keep living together. Maybe you should have dinner together and try to make up.
Divorced
That would be a little difficult since I'm already involved in a serious relationship. I married my wife very young and for the wrong reasons. I married her because she was my best friend - not because I loved her. I could never go back to that kind of relationship.
