Guest Posted May 15, 2006 Share Posted May 15, 2006 Hi, Over a month ago, I wrote a post on here detailing my failing relationship. From all the responses I got (and a lot of thinking on my own), I ended the relationship and we both moved out into our own places. The reason was because I knew I wanted to marry him, but he was never "ready" Anyway, he's been living on his own for a month and I've been living on my own for two weeks. He has never lived alone before and I know that he doesn't like to be alone very much (always has to be busy or with friends). I just got an email from him today that almost made me cry. He says how difficult it is for him right now, that he still loves me and wakes up needing me at night. As for me, I'm doing ok - I miss him, but I'm scared that if we got back together, our relationship would be stuck in the same old rut that it was before. However, I don't know what to do - should I respond? I feel horrible if I don't, but I don't think that is a good idea. Any advice would be really really appreciated. Whitt Posted May 17, 2006 Share Posted May 17, 2006 Read what others here have been saying about no contact (NC). NC will give him the opportunity to see what life wouldbe like without you. That might be a start. I don't have a lot of experience giving advice in this area, but felt bad that no one has replied to you yet. Do you want this guy back? Link to post Share on other sites
