mishy Posted May 16, 2006 Share Posted May 16, 2006 I put a longer version of this up in "coping" but it probably should be here. My dad died a month ago from cancer. He died in hospital. We were very very close and i absolutely adored him. The night before he died I felt 2 or 3 other spirits in the hospital room. I couldn't see them but i knew where they were standing. We stayed in the hospital room that night . Next morning when i woke up he died. As he was dying i asked him to come back and give me a sign that he is ok wherever he ends up. He always believed he will see his family that are already dead. No sign really has happpened except for this crazy little bird that got in the house one night (probably just a bird). Also his brother travelled miles to the funeral with this single rose that he and his wife said had come out after dad died , out of nowhere on a rose bush that had long since finished flowering. They saw it as some kind of sign. It wasn't until days after the funeral that i told them that I had asked for a sign from dad. After he died it felt like his spirit followed me around the house. It was so intense that at one point i just wanted him to go for a while so i could actually grieve. I've had this feeling come and go- its quite a definite feeling - its either yes he is here today or no he is not. In 1997 my grandmother was really old and expected to die within days. I was having a coffee and 10;15 in the morning and i was watching the time because i had an appointment somewhere. All of a sudden i felt a warm rusing feeling wash over me . i smiled and was just thinking about nanna, I looked opposite me and sensed her sitting opposite me. A while later my mum rang to tell me nanna had died. I asked her what time . It was 10:15am. has anyone had things like this happen or have i been watching too much Medium???? Agent M Posted May 31, 2006 Share Posted May 31, 2006 I haven't had this personally happen to me, but I've heard this story LOTS in books, tv, etc. Do you feel your Dad has now left? Sometimes people can get stuck on this plane after they die. Have you asked him to go? Link to post Share on other sites
Brittanyjean06 Posted May 31, 2006 Share Posted May 31, 2006 I don't believe that any of the spirits that have surrounded you have been stuck here, After people die I think they stick around for a little bit in spirit to see you, give you feeling that they are okay and that spirit is true! Hear is a story my friend from work told me the other day. Before her dad past away, they told him to give her some sort of sign of being in spirit after he died. After her fathers death, she was cooking a hamburger, and her boyfriend turned her around and kissed her, than instantly turned around and the hamburger was Gone, just like that! There would have been no other ways that hamburger could have been missing? My mom and my grandma talk about my moms dad who had died a while back, and after he died they smelt moth balls one day, and there have been signs to. Only people who have gone through with relatives dying , will know these feelings..others will make you think it was just a considence.. I guess we will all find out with in time what that is like. I am very young, and am very much aware of my parents dying, I anticipate it and I don't know how I will handel it but I will get a sign that their okay, and Will see them again one day I hope you see your father one day, and I'm sorry he passed away from cancer, take those signs and take meening from them Link to post Share on other sites
