shing
Okay... My aunt invited me to go with them to a mall So I prepared my clothes and stuff Then my mother asked me to find her comb I told her I can't find it But she just jkept saying 'I' was using it I was verrrry hungry at that time I still didn;t ate my breakfast so I'm kind of cranky and all I searched every room in the house still, I can't find it anywhere I told her "I can't find it, and I;m hungry already...let me take my breakfast first" Then she started yelling at me "You're always like that, when I ask you to do me a favor there are always excuses!" (Yelling at me for a piece of comb...There are lots of combs here ya know) Even called me 'PUTA' it means 'whore' in filipino I told her I don't know where the comb is 'Puta ka, sumasagot-sagot ka pa!' (You whore, you even dared to talk back at me!') she said I was very pissed off I can't help but talk back at her (who would like to be called a whore anyway????) So here we go, she chased me when I tried locking myself in aunt's room And when she got there Guess what she said "I only asked her to find my comb but she started talking back at me" in her most CALMEST tune Darn! I hate this life! I mean, why would she verbally torture me She is MY MOTHER!!! Aren't mothers suppose to be understanding and all???? What a joke...........
ConfusedGal
Read all the "mother related" posts here. No...unfortunately not all mothers are loving and supportive... How old are you? Do you live at home?
RecordProducer
Mothers can be abusive and very loving at the same time. They take it all out on the kids. That's the way it is. Talk to her and tell her that it costs her nothing to spill insults on your account, but it costs you a lot of pain to hear them, because she is your mom and you expect love and tenderness from her. You want to feel comfortable in your own home, not attacked by her as if she is your enemy.
Mz. Pixie
Honey, not all mothers are supportive. Some are downright vicious. You've got alot to learn. Yeah, I've been called a whore and a bitch by my mom plenty of times. It's verbal abuse.
