Guest Posted May 20, 2006 Share Posted May 20, 2006 Hello. I had a question on how to lose cheese fat aka man boobs. I am 18 a college student, 6ft, about 138lbs. I am skinny but fat, I have large man boobs for my size, even though I've been working out for a few months. I read all over that their is no certain way to do besides overall working out. I used to do alot of cardio,, but now lift more. I try not to do too much becuase I was told that it probably will burn muscle. I've read all forums at body building sites, was told that I have to bulk up (gain alot of weight) by eatin about 2500 cal a day then I will start to gain muscle, but then I read here that cardio is the only way to lose the chest fat. I have about 80-120 g protein ever day, mostly by whey protein shakes. I eat about 1600 cal. (too little to less)? I don't want to gain fat, just lose the tits, I don't really care if its by muscle or not, just want to be able to take my shirt of in public. I do very little cardio becuase of suggestions to gain weigt first, is this wrong? If I eat more calories and then burn 500 calories by cardio a day after weights, will I lose msucle and/or fat? I ]m not sure how much cardio to do. Should I have my protein shake after lifting and before cardio or it does not matter? I do have pretty skinny limbs, so everyone thinks I'm a stick, but they've never seen me with my shirt off. What should I do? Oh, and my gym is only open 4 days a week for now. a-j Posted June 3, 2006 Share Posted June 3, 2006 as you said cardio is the best way, weights often increase the appearence them because it is difficult to work the muscle direclty under the fat so you work the muscle below them which pushes the fat up and proud! Best way, build up a bit more then just hammer the gym and do cardio because the more fat you have there the easier it is to reduce. But a little tip, there probably not as big as you think they are they look bigger when you look down on them, they probably dont stand out as much as you think and the only problem you actually have is that they are fat and not muscle. Believe me iv been in your position, just speak to a trainer at your gym, get them to tell you the best exercise to get rip of your man boobs! It'll help the situation to get your body fat way down, but if it's bad enough, then you can get down to 7% bodyfat with ripped abs showing and the tits will still be there. You'll just have ripped abs and large boobs. In that case, your only real option is liposuction to take out the extra fat cells. I understand that it's embarrassing at the beach, but it's actually more common in men than you might think.
