Tony T Posted October 20, 2001 Posted October 20, 2001 Winter officially starts December 21 of each year, more commonly known as Winter Solstice. It continues on through March 21, which is the first day of Spring. If you want to check this information, use your encyclopedia or enter "winter" in your favorite search engine. Personally, winter starts for me when it begins getting too cold for fall.
Tony T Posted October 20, 2001 Posted October 20, 2001 When using a search engine, best to use the entire phrase "first day of winter" otherwise you'll get a lot of garbage you don't need. Was also sort of wrong about Spring. It officially begins March 20. Some of this stuff depends on whether or not you are north or south of the equator. Some of it depends on whether you are sober or not.
