Honeymoon

Recommended Posts

Take your fiance to a library or bookstore and view destinations in the travel section. Go to a travel agency and let them show you brochures and make recommendations. You can even go to a good video rental store and check out videos on various exotic destinations that would be ideal for your honeymoon. If you have cable TV, your best resource is the travel channel. You can knock yourself out watching beautiful places 24 hours a day.

The Internet is also an excellent resource for finding great places to begin your lives together. Just enter "honeymood locations" in your favorite search engine.

Once the two of you agree on a place, a good travel agency can get you the very best prices on all elements of your itinerary, including air fares, motels, ground transportation, meals, inter-local transportation, theatre and other entertainment, oceanliners fares, etc.

My only recommendation to you is that you involve your partner in this decision on an equal basis.

At this time, I feel you should avoid Afghanistan, Pakistan and surrounding areas unless the two of you are very much into action adventure.

Well...it depends on your budget. Spent Valentines Day 2000 at the Hotel Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas. Was the BEST place I've ever been by far!! A little pricey, but well worth the $$$ if you can swing it. If you go, I would recommend the little Cayes Island speed boat trip as a side excursion. They zip you around to several different islands than you end up at Cayes where you snorkel and hike while they prepare a great feed for everyone. The speed boat cruise can be a little bumpy (I had bruises on my thighs!) so I wouldn't recommend it for the timid at heart. There's over 15 resturants, a casino, seven pools...not to mention the beach! The whole resort is a giant underground aquarium. It must be seen to be believed!

If your funds are limited, the Hyatt Caribe in CanCun is a great alternative! Took my guy there for his birthday in July. It's romantic, exotic, and has the bluest water and the whitest beaches I've ever seen. A mexican food-lovers dream! They also boast one of the top ten resturants in the WORLD...The Blue Bayou.

Good luck and have fun!!

I am getting married soon. I would like to have a romantic and memorable honeymoon, any recommedation? Can you introduce me Top 5 best desinations for that?
