YoungBuck Posted June 3, 2006 Share Posted June 3, 2006 Hey guys.. First off, I'm not the greatest socially.. I just get nervous whenever I'm talking to any girls in my high school. I really don't know how to approach them.. Now that's not saying I'm a hermit or anything, I have friends and all, but just trouble talking with the opposite sex. Now for example, say there's a nice looking girl that I want to talk to. Do I just walk up to her and say something like "How do you think that test was?" or something like that? j.carsey Posted June 6, 2006 Share Posted June 6, 2006 Two quick ideas ... first is to watch how other people do it, meaning watch how other guys and girls will approach girls. This will show you the style you can do it in without seeming out of place. The reason I say you should also watch how other GIRLS approach each other is, it's important to be able to do this in a calm and cool way without getting overly excited that you're talking to a girl you're attracted to. Another trick along these lines would be, imagine how you might interact if this was another guy. Then use the words you think of to talk to this girl, it will come across as more cool and relaxed. The key here is looking and acting like it's "no big deal" Start with any kind of mild contact. Find some excuse when an opportunity arises.
