Ladies, what will you buy your husbands for Father's Day?

I am completely out of ideas. He probably has everything he wants. I want it to be something special.

Yeah, I'd like to camp in Ritz, but it's too expensive.

 

Father's Day is this Saturday so it has to be this weekend. Thanks for the idea, schweetie... I might take him to a special place that he's never seen before... the kitchen, for example.

Not to jack the thread but do men really give a crap about fathers day or is it just another day to boost sales through pressure of the commercial world?

 

No fathers day here.... our fathers are gone and no kids here so we will continue to ignore this holiday until the day we die.

I drive by my Dads and S.Moms graves twice a day and rarely stop.. sometimes i wish I made more time to do something like what you do..

Why not give him a home made card. Write out a small poem, or paragraph expressing your thoughts/feelings. Have it professionally cut.

Well for my step-dad I am making him a lobster dinner & since his b-day is two days later we are celebrating both so i am getting him a round of golf & new golfing gloves.

 

For my BF my daughter is getting him a humming bird feeder & I am getting him a signed copy of Fritz Weatherby's new book.

 

(although I shouldn't really get him anything because he's not my dad)
