bab Posted June 13, 2006 Share Posted June 13, 2006 First of all to understand this know that my husband is a guys guy. Sports, fast cars, beer, ya know the type. A couple days ago I went and had my drivers license changed to reflect my new married name. That afternoon I went out boating with some friends and when we got back to our place my husband was watching a movie. He stopped it and hung out with the crowd, but when everyone left, he started watching it again and I went to bed. When he came to bed we had our "end of the day" talk. Ya know, how was your day, what did you do and so on. We are in the bed, it's late and all the lights are off. I told him that I had gotten the new liscense. He jumped out of bed and said he wanted to see it. I told him it was in my purse and he went and got it. I couldn't see him at this point because I had been in the bed longer and my eyes hadn't adjusted to the light. But he is pretty quiet. I hear a "wow..." in a shakey voice. He was crying. My big macho husband was crying. He said, "You are really my wife. I am so happy, _(insert name here)_ and I love you so much". :love: Just thought I'd share cause I thought it was so sweet and I don't think hubby would want me to share with our real life friends.
