sirjay
I am not actually looking for a girl at the moment but I thought this would be a fun place to ask a question I have had in my head for years. Often, I am talking to a girl and I find her looking at my mouth a lot. Now, I have a goatee but it's not unusual in any way that I can discern. I always thought I had something stuck in my teeth or something, but never did when I checked. All this time ... have they been thinking about kissing me?! I mean, I am terrible at picking up when women are interested in me!
Pink Amulet
If there was something in your teeth, she wouldn't look at your mouth. Sounds like there is something on the upper part of your face diverting her eyes to your mouth to avoid in embarrassment! Haha, this really is a hilarious thread!

Author sirjay
It came up because a woman was doing it the other day and she suddenly kissed me out of the blue. english women dont tend to be that forward, however, and would usually expect the guy to make the first move. Author sirjay
i cant remember really. i was pretty drunk at the time. we had just agreed a little business arrangement and rather than shake on it, i got a big wet sloppy kiss on the lips! we're still working together on this project so i kind of hope there isnt vibes next time we meet. i definitely dont want to get involved with her. it was my ex who introduced us on a work level and i want her back more than anything in the world so... ! Maria33
I've been reading up on body language. If someone is looking at your mouth it usually means they are interested in you. Especially if you see them checking out your whole face. Usually they say you make a triangle when you look at someone you're interested in. You look at one eye, then the other eye, then down to the mouth. If they are REALLY interested in you sexually they will make the triangle bigger to include more personal areas on your body, if you know what I mean. It makes sense. If you're attracted to someone you will probably look at their lips and wonder if they will kiss you.

Maria33
i missed out on a damn lot of opportunities for kisses then! us men are useless at this stuff, i guess! Here you go guys. Read this and it might give you a little edge on who's flirting with you. You can also do these things yourself to let the women know you're interested in them. Good luck on lots of kisses! http://menshealth.about.com/cs/stds/ht/howto_flirt.htm
j.carsey
I have a friend who became very obsessive about this "reading bodylanguage" stuff. When we are sitting in a restaurant or lounge, pretty much the only thing he comments on is: look how that woman's legs are positioned, look how her hands and eyes move. He speaks to female friends of mine, and they later tell me he seems creepy because he is looking all over their bodies so intensely. When I tell them he is just curious about body language and was trying to interpret how they folded their arms or whatever, the girls say... wow this dude needs to relax and stop trying to overanalyze everything So maybe there's a lesson there I don't know. Sure there is something to body language but don't take it to excess

Sure there is something to body language but don't take it to excess It is said that around 93% of communication is through body language, voice tonality and inflection, etc. 7% is actual spoken language. Nonverbal signs are more important than spoken language, though if your friend wanted to analyze it he should keep it in his head, then he wouldn't look so strange. Besides, why doesn't he just learn about it then integrate it instead of having to consciously pay attention to it.

I think he's gay, to be honest. He spends too much time complaining about women and overanalyzing them when he should just jump right into it and introduce himself to some ladies Plus I've never actually seen him date anyone

Mmmm I LOVE a man with a nice mouth, nice teeth, great kissable lips I know that I've totally looked at a guys moth before wondering what it would feel like to kiss him and such, and I'm not very sly, so I bet they've noticed
Pink Amulet
Yeah, me too. Check out the teeth- are they straight? Clean? Not yellow? Look at the lips? Moisturised (very important men! Invest in some lip balm).

I'm attracted to people much more for their mind and personality than looks, but I could never be with someone that had gross, dirty, crooked teeth
