greyskies
about not using Meth is my whole life has changed. I used for 20 odd years. And I am blessed to have my teeth, my mind, and my health still. I did'nt use a drug program I did it because I wanted to. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired!! I have been clean since December 8th 2005. That is not very long. What I've gained in those 8 months is a great thing. I lived in a trailer park with a bunch of other users. I now live in a beautiful two story town house. I didnt have a car I now own a 2002 Intrepid (with personal plates) which was something I always wanted. I have a great job and all of my family members back in my life. I have inspired a few others to get clean as well. And thats a great feeling. One Major Important Thing "I could'nt have done it without GOD". If anyone out there ever needs any help to get off of Meth or any other drug I will be glad to be there for you. Life is good for me and I would like to help make it good for you too. So if your sick and tired of being sick and tired hit me up!!! AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!
quankanne
eight months doesn't sound like a very long time ... but I think for this length of time to be clean and STAY clean, every single day of it is a freaking milestone. At least judging by some of the interviews I've read with people who have walked away from a life of serious drug use. so, congratulations, kiddo, ya done good!

Ladywithafan
Never touched the meth but in the past...my bf's crack habit & my occasional use "back in the day" was a nightmare...so I totally understand...it takes a lot of effort to build things back up... When my bf has relapsed ... I look at every $20 as money just freakin smoked up that could have: 1. paid bills 2. bought food 3. bought entertainment 4. put away for retirement the list goes on...just keep on your path!
