Sure, it has been emotionally very painful, but neither of us are taking it out on each other. It helps that she lives in a foreign country. In any case, we have no children and our estate is pretty small. I just wondered if anyone knew about the particulars of settling your estate before or after getting the divorce finalized. My thinking is that this can occur at any time as long as the settlement agreement stipulates time constraints and terms. So say you couldn't sell an apartment in some foreign country due to their laws, you could just settle that later after the divorce. Oh, and both of us are very happy not to pay any lawyers. Pbbbbbt!
